"If someone would have told me that I would "love" to work out and get fit I would have called them crazy. Since joining Nidaa in November 2016 that is exactly what happened. It started as a passing attempt to lose a few pounds and get in shape for an upcoming half marathon (which I've never done before either). Let's just say I thought 3 days a week was a bit aggressive and following a macro diet - WHAT! That was the hardest part but once I got used to weighing and measuring it became easier and a little fun. I never thought about how much food was a serving and since I started weighing and measuring I must be honest I'm not hungry (OK maybe a little). By the end of the first challenge I had lost 10 pounds. Whoa!! Then we took a few weeks off for the holidays - let me just say I missed it!! I missed it a lot!! So I kept up with exercising a few days a week and still training for my half marathon. Then the second challenge started and it was more fun and more addicting because I had already seen results and wanted more. Needless to say I keep signing back up not to lose weight but to be with a group of like- minded individuals who all have similar goals. Nidaa makes working out fun. If you can use that term. The workouts she comes up with are grueling. BUT you do them, and you do them right. She also believes in keeping you accountable (which I very much needed). What you put into your body is what you'll get out of your body. I know cliché but so very true. Nidaa is also your biggest cheerleader. If you have a goal, she is right there beside you pushing and sometimes pulling you to it. I am so very glad I met Nidaa and joined her in this adventure. I am looking forward to the Fall Challenge!
